Trust is the foundation Metta People is built on. Before anyone joins our platform as a practitioner, place, or partner, we take real steps to earn that trust — and we keep working to protect it every day after.
How We Vet Practitioners
- Identity verification — for every practitioner before their profile goes live.
- Credential and training review — we ask practitioners to demonstrate genuine training, certification, or lineage relevant to their practice.
- Founding Practitioner standards — our early cohort of practitioners is personally reviewed to set the quality bar for the entire community.
- Ongoing review — practitioner standing is reassessed based on client feedback, reported concerns, and platform activity.
How We Vet Places
Metta Places partners — eco-resorts, retreat centers, and ecovillages — are reviewed for their environmental practices, safety standards, and alignment with conscious living values before being listed.
Payment Protection
All payments are processed through secure, industry-standard providers. Funds are protected until a service or stay is confirmed, and practitioners and places are paid according to our transparent commission structure. We never ask you to pay a practitioner or place outside the platform.
Data Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and in compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA B.E. 2562). We collect only what we need to deliver a safe, working platform — and we never sell your data.
Reporting a Safety Concern
If something doesn't feel right — during a session, a stay, or any interaction on the platform — we want to know immediately.
All reports are treated confidentially and reviewed by our team. Where a report involves a credible safety risk, we may suspend the relevant account while we investigate, and we cooperate with local authorities where required by law.
Emergency Situations
Metta People is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services directly before reaching out to us.
